Permaculture Design Course (PDC)
Become a Certified Permaculture Designer and make the change you want to see in the world!

The Permaculture Design Course is a 72-hour (minimum) training experience based on Bill Mollison’s Permaculture: A Designers’ Manual. Topics covered in a Permaculture Design Course include: reading the land and understanding natural processes, principles of natural systems, sustainable design methodologies, large-scale land restoration techniques, water harvesting techniques, greywater recycling, food forests, plant guilds and gardens for self-sufficiency, wildlife management and biological pest control, urban environment permaculture, eco villages and sustainable human settlements. The course provides 72 hours of lectures and workshops, self-study sessions, hands-on learning, group design projects and visits to demonstration sites.

Working with Water: Dryland Strategies Course
Water Management for Food Security in Arid & Semi-Arid Lands

This course aims to map out different ways for handling water as a resource, ranging from rainwater capture and management through swales, gabions, dams and ponds to greywater filtration systems such as reed beds. The ultimate goal is to increase water reservoirs and yields for land and homeowners, and to reduce land erosion and water costs.
